I was born in Thessaloniki and my parents are from Kilkis. Since 2002 I lived in Winston-Salem , NC and am a partner in the
restaurant “The Olive Tree” since 2009. I’m also the Founder of FoodDealsSupply.com. Food Distribution in NC.
Evthokia “Effie” Thompson
Vice President
Evthokia “Effie” Thompson is the granddaughter of Konstantinos and Evthokia Deligiannidis. She was raised with the same pride and passion for the Pontic culture that her late and beloved Pappou shared. She grew up in the church community of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Columbia, SC. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017 and from Wake Forest University with dual masters degrees in Business Management and Physician Assistant studies in 2020 and 2022, respectively. She is a practicing orthopedic surgery PA. She served on the Pan Pontian Youth Board from 2019-2022. She lives in Rock Hill, SC with her high school sweetheart and husband, Hank Thompson. Her passions and interests include Pontiaka and Greek dancing, singing, soccer, and traveling.
